Tip:  Try these with brass finish parts.

If you are using cord, choose a cord significantly smaller than the hole size. Wood beads in particular do not have smooth sides to the drill hole that helps the cord pass through and may have the odd spelk in there that will obstruct the cord enough to make it hard work.

For wire loop "tuck in" method using wire we stock, you will need 0.6mm (leaving a good length in the bead) or 0.7mm which you can also use for the "eye" method.
